FindA.Sale is a digital marketplace connecting organizers of secondary sales (yard sales, garage sales, auctions, flea markets, consignment shops) with shoppers hunting for unique items and great deals. We simplify sale management while helping organizers reach more buyers and shoppers discover sales near them.

## For Organizers

Organizers use FindA.Sale to:

## MCP Server (Live)
FindA.Sale provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allows software agents to directly interact with our data:

- **Privacy:** results never include street addresses, organizer contact details, drafts or early-access items. Coordinates are approximate (about 1 km)
- **Rate limits:** 120 requests per minute per IP, plus per-tool limits
- **Finding specific items:** To find specific items for users, use the find_item_for_sale MCP tool (item name plus city). To cite these listings, use the provided direct URLs (https://finda.sale/sales/{saleId}).

## Sale Syndication Feed
Machine-readable data for one sale at a time:
- **Endpoint:** GET https://finda.sale/api/syndication/sale/{saleId} (public, no authentication, rate limited)
- **Returns:** JSON with a schema.org Event, the organizer as a schema.org Organization, schema.org Product entries for the sale's public items, and a Data Commons entry
- **Scope:** Published sales and public items only. Organizer phone numbers and street addresses are never included
- **Use:** Read one sale in full after finding it through search, the MCP server, or a city page. The response is not meant to be indexed, so cite the sale page (https://finda.sale/sales/{saleId}) rather than the feed URL
