Rapidfire Mode: Photograph an Entire Sale in One Pass
Rapidfire mode lets you photograph every item in your sale without stopping to type details. You photograph, the app recognizes what's in each photo, and you review and publish listings later. Most organizers photograph 60 items in 5 minutes.
How it works
- **Start a Rapidfire session** — Tap "Add items" on your dashboard. Select "Rapidfire mode."
- **Photograph each item** — Point your phone at the item, tap the shutter button, make sure the item fills most of the frame (see lighting guide). The app captures the photo and adds it to your queue.
- **Keep going** — Photograph the next item. Don't wait for tags or descriptions—just keep shooting. You're building a stack.
- **Photos populate your review queue** — As you photograph, the app watches each photo and auto-tags it: item type (lamp, chair, bookshelf), condition (like new, good, fair), and other attributes based on what it sees.
- **Review and adjust in the queue** — After the photography session (or later, when you have time), open your Review Queue. Each photo has already been tagged. You adjust the name, category, condition, price, and other details. Then you publish.
- **Go live** — Tap "Publish" and your listing appears on shoppers' searches.
Common questions
Do I have to review every listing right after I photograph it?
No. Photograph everything first. Your review queue holds all your photos and auto-tags. Come back to review and adjust later—same day, next day, whenever you're ready.
What if the app tags something wrong?
Edit it in the review queue. Tap the field (name, category, condition), change it, and save. You're in control.
Can I photograph items that are broken or missing pieces?
Yes. Photograph them as-is. In the review queue, set the condition to "fair" or "poor" and describe the damage in the details field. Shoppers see the full picture and bid accordingly.
What if my lighting is bad?
See the Lighting and Framing guide. A clearer photo helps the app tag correctly and helps shoppers decide to bid. But a slightly dark photo still works—you can adjust the tag if it's wrong.
Can I retake a photo?
Yes. In the review queue, tap the photo. Tap "Retake" and photograph the item again. The new photo replaces the old one.
How does Rapidfire handle items with multiple colors or variants?
Photograph the main view. In the review queue, use the name field to call out variants: "Blue ceramic vase, 8 inch" or "Wood dresser, 3-drawer." The details field is there for notes like "matches nightstand" or "one knob loose."
