Staff Can Now Apply Checkout Discounts, and Records Go Straight to Discogs

Published August 29, 2026

Discounts at checkout, on your terms

If you run a sale with more than one person working the register, you've probably hit this: someone needs to knock a few dollars off a chipped vase or move a table of leftovers before closing, and either everyone can discount anything or no one can.

Now you can set it per person. Turn discount permission on for staff you trust, leave it off for anyone else, and set a cap, either a percentage or a dollar amount, so a discount never goes further than you're comfortable with. If a cashier doesn't have the permission, the discount option simply isn't there for them. No locked button, no "go find the owner" moment with a customer standing at the table.

This is available on the TEAMS plan, where staff accounts already exist.

Records now push straight to Discogs

If you sell vinyl through FindA.Sale, eligible records can now be pushed directly to Discogs, the marketplace collectors already use to buy and sell.

Matching real album titles to Discogs' catalog isn't always straightforward, spelling and formatting don't always line up exactly, so we built the matching to clean up the title, fall back to an artist-scoped search when a direct match doesn't turn up anything, and tell you plainly when it's a confident match versus a likely one worth double-checking before you push it live.

Why this matters

Neither of these is flashy. One gives you control over who can touch your prices at checkout. The other saves a manual step for anyone with a crate of records to move.
