Connect Square and receive your first payout
Square is how FindA.Sale sends you your earnings. You set it up once in Settings and then it handles every payout automatically. The whole process takes about five to ten minutes.

Why Square is required
FindA.Sale uses Square to move money from shoppers to you. Without a connected Square account, shoppers can still place holds and pay cash in person, but you can't process card payments or receive online payouts. Most organizers connect Square before their first sale goes live.

How to connect
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Click Connect Square.
- Square opens its own onboarding flow in a new page. Follow Square's steps there to verify your identity and link a bank account.
- When you're done, you'll land back in FindA.Sale.
That's it. Once Square confirms your account, the Payments tab in Settings shows a green "Square Connected" status, along with a "Manage in Square" link to your Square dashboard.

If setup isn't finished yet
Sometimes Square's own onboarding needs a few more steps before payouts can go through. If that's the case, your Payments tab shows a note that your Square account setup isn't fully finished on Square's side yet, with a nudge to head back into Square to complete it.
Separately, a newly connected account occasionally gets a routine look from the FindA.Sale team before payouts begin. If that happens, you'll see a note that no action is needed on your end, and you'll be notified as soon as it clears.

When payouts arrive
Once a sale closes and you finalize settlement, your share is deposited to your connected Square account on a weekly schedule. The platform fee is deducted before your payout is calculated.

What if you skip Square
You can run a sale without connecting Square. Shoppers can place holds and pay cash at pickup. You won't be able to accept card payments online or through FindA.Sale's checkout links until you connect. Most organizers find connecting Square is worth the five minutes.

Common questions
Is it safe to connect my bank account through Square? Yes. Square is one of the largest payment processors in the world. Verification happens entirely on Square's own onboarding page. FindA.Sale never sees your banking details or identity documents; they go directly to Square.
Can I use a business bank account instead of a personal one? Square supports both personal and business accounts. You'll choose which one to link during Square's own onboarding steps.
What if my Square account gets flagged for review? Square will let you know directly what it needs. If FindA.Sale also flags your account for a routine review, you'll see a note on your Payments tab and won't need to do anything; we'll notify you once it clears.
Can I change my bank account after I've connected? Yes. Click Manage in Square on your Payments tab to open your Square dashboard and update your payout details there.
What's the platform fee? FindA.Sale charges 10% on all sales, regardless of your plan. This is deducted before your payout is calculated. So if your sale earns $1,000, your payout is $900 before Square's own processing fees.
