Your storefront is always open. New items go live the moment you publish them. Nothing expires on a close date.

Retail Mode is designed for organizers who run ongoing inventory rather than one-time events:

If you run occasional yard sales or auctions, a standard sale listing is the right tool. Retail Mode is for organizers who are always selling.

Requirements
Retail Mode requires the **PRO tier** or higher. If your account is on the Free (SIMPLE) tier, the Retail Mode toggle will appear grayed out in Settings. Upgrade to PRO to enable it.

How to enable Retail Mode
- Go to **Settings** from your organizer dashboard.
- Find the **Retail Mode** section.
- Toggle **Retail Mode** on.
- Set your **auto-renew interval**: 7, 14, or 30 days.
- Tap **Save**.
Your storefront is now in Retail Mode.

What auto-renewing means
Retail Mode refreshes your storefront automatically on the interval you set.
A 7-day interval means the sale renews every 7 days. A 30-day interval means it renews monthly.
Renewing moves your storefront to the top of recently-updated listings in search. It also resets the "last updated" timestamp shoppers see on your profile.
You don't have to do anything for the renewal to happen. There's no email, no button to click — it runs on its own.

How inventory works in Retail Mode
Inventory in Retail Mode works the same as a regular sale.
- Add an item → it's live immediately
- Edit an item → changes appear right away
- Mark an item sold → it leaves the active listing
- Delete an item → it's removed entirely
Items don't expire based on a close date. If you stop adding new inventory, old items stay listed until you remove them or mark them sold.

Common questions
**Can I still run timed sales alongside Retail Mode?** Yes. Retail Mode is a setting on your storefront. You can still create separate timed sales for specific events — an estate liquidation, an auction, a weekend pop-up. Those run independently alongside your always-open storefront.
**What happens to my existing items if I turn Retail Mode on?** All your currently-listed items remain live. Nothing is removed or reset when you enable Retail Mode. The change is to how your storefront behaves going forward.
**Can I turn Retail Mode off?** Yes. Go to Settings → Retail Mode and toggle it off. Your storefront reverts to standard sale behavior and you'll need to set a new start and end date. Existing items are not affected.
**Does Retail Mode cost extra on top of PRO or TEAMS?** No. Retail Mode is included in the PRO and TEAMS tiers — no additional charge.
**I'm on the Free plan. Can I use Retail Mode?** No. Retail Mode requires PRO or higher. Upgrade your account to PRO to enable it.
**Will shoppers know my store is in Retail Mode?** They'll see the "Always Open" badge on your storefront instead of a countdown or date range. They won't see the words "Retail Mode" — just the badge.
