# Earning XP without spending: 12 ways that cost nothing
Most XP comes from things you'd do anyway — logging in, saving items you like, telling a friend about a sale. None of these require a purchase or a subscription.

The 12 free actions
**1. Daily login streak.** Open the app or visit the site while signed in. Do it every day and your streak grows. XP per login increases at streak milestones.
**2. Complete your profile.** Add a profile photo, your hunting location, and a short bio. One-time XP awarded when your profile hits 100% complete.
**3. Follow an organizer.** Find a sale organizer you like and tap Follow. XP awarded on the follow.
**4. Save an item to your wishlist.** Browse any sale and save an item. No purchase needed. XP awarded per save.
**5. Post a haul.** Bought something at a sale? Post a photo and caption showing what you found. One of the highest XP-per-action options available for free.
**6. Write a review.** After visiting a sale — in person or online — leave a review. Rate the organizer and describe what the sale was like. XP awarded per published review.
**7. Refer a friend.** Share your referral link. When the person signs up and completes their first interaction, XP is awarded to you. One of the highest single-action XP sources.
**8. Introduce an organizer.** Know someone running estate sales, yard sales, auctions, or flea markets who isn't on FindA.Sale yet? Introduce them using your organizer referral link. XP awarded when they list their first sale.
**9. Share a sale.** Use the built-in share button on any sale page to post it to social media or send it to a contact. XP awarded per share.
**10. RSVP to an upcoming sale.** Find a sale that hasn't started yet and tap RSVP. Lets the organizer know you're coming and earns you XP.
**11. Complete a trade.** Trade an item with another shopper through the platform. XP awarded when the trade is marked complete by both parties.
**12. Earn your first achievement.** Unlock any achievement badge for the first time. Each achievement awards XP on top of the XP you earned doing the action that triggered it.

Common questions
**Do these actions earn XP every time, or just once?** Most earn XP every time (saves, shares, reviews, RSVPs). Some are one-time (completing your profile, first achievement). The Guild Primer notes which are repeatable.
**Is there a daily XP cap?** Check the Guild Primer — this can vary and is subject to change.
**Does Hunt Pass affect free XP?** Yes. Hunt Pass members earn a multiplier on XP from actions they already take. The free actions above still earn XP without Hunt Pass — you just earn more of it with one.
**Can I earn XP from sales I didn't attend in person?** Yes. RSVPs, follows, reviews of online sales, and shares all earn XP without being physically present.
