How Ranks Work (Initiate to Grandmaster)

**Initiate.** Your starting rank. You're learning the ropes.

**Scout.** You've hit your first milestone. Organizers see you're active.

**Tracker.** Mid-level hunters. You're reliable and consistent.

**Ranger.** You know the terrain. You find good stuff regularly.

**Expedition Lead.** You're a serious hunter. Your posts and tips help the community.

**Grandmaster.** The top tier. Only the most active hunters reach this rank. You appear on the monthly leaderboard.

Your rank affects:

• Whether organizers notice you (higher ranks get priority responses to questions)
• Your place on the monthly leaderboard (Expedition Lead and Grandmaster only)
• Eligibility for exclusive sales (some organizers offer rank-locked previews)
• Your Hunt Pass bonus (slightly better deals at higher ranks)

You earn XP by:

• Checking in at a sale
• Saving an item to your wishlist
• Posting a haul (photos of what you found)
• Referring a friend who completes a purchase
• Completing achievements

Your rank does not reset. Once you hit Tracker, you stay Tracker or higher. You can't go down.

**SCENE 2: Progression meter filling — Initiate to Scout to Tracker** VO: "As you hunt, post hauls, and refer friends, you earn XP. And XP means rank."

**SCENE 3: Six rank badges scrolling (Initiate → Scout → Tracker → Ranger → Expedition Lead → Grandmaster)** VO: "There are six ranks total. From Initiate all the way to Grandmaster."

**SCENE 4: Ranger shopper's profile, noticing they're getting faster organizer replies** VO: "Higher ranks get small perks. Organizers respond faster to your questions. You unlock exclusive sales."

**SCENE 5: Grandmaster shopper on leaderboard** VO: "At Grandmaster? You're on the monthly leaderboard. The app recognizes you as a top hunter."

**SCENE 6: Shopper checking in at a sale, XP +10 notification** VO: "Every action earns XP. Checked in? Plus 10. Posted a haul? Plus 50. Referred a friend? Even bigger."

**SCENE 7: Profile zooming out to show full rank history (never goes down)** VO: "And here's the thing: your rank never goes down. Once you're a Tracker, you stay Tracker or better."
