Introduce an organizer to FindA.Sale and earn rewards

For ShoppersWritten guide

If you know someone who runs yard sales, estate sales, auctions, flea markets, or consignment — and they are not on FindA.Sale yet — you can introduce them. When they list their first sale, you earn XP and a coupon toward your next purchase.

This is separate from the friend referral program. You are not recruiting a shopper. You are connecting a local seller to a platform where more shoppers can find them.

---

Who this is for

Think about the people in your life who run sales. The neighbor who does a big yard sale every spring. The person in your Facebook group who organizes estate sales. The flea market vendor you see every weekend. The consignment shop that does not show up in search results anywhere.

If they are not already on FindA.Sale and you think they would benefit from more visibility, this is the right tool.

---

How to do it

  1. Go to [/shopper/referrals](/shopper/referrals).
  2. Tap the **Introduce an Organizer** tab.
  3. Enter their email address. You can also add their business name if you know it — that goes into the email so it feels personal, not like spam.
  4. Tap **Send Introduction**.

That is it. FindA.Sale sends them a short email explaining what the platform is and how to set up their organizer account. The email comes from FindA.Sale, not from you, but it acknowledges that someone who shops with us thought they would be a good fit.

---

What happens next

The organizer gets an email with a setup link. They can ignore it, or they can click through and create their account.

If they list their first sale within 90 days of receiving the invitation, your account is credited automatically. You do not need to follow up or remind them — the system tracks it from the moment they click your referral link in the invitation email.

---

What you earn

When the organizer lists their first sale, you receive:

  • **XP** credited to your shopper account
  • **A coupon** good toward your next purchase on FindA.Sale

The exact amounts are shown on your [referrals page](/shopper/referrals) and update from time to time. The page always has the current numbers.

Why it matters

FindA.Sale works better when more local sellers are on it. More organizers means more sales near you, more variety, and more chances to find something worth driving for. When you introduce an organizer, you are not doing us a marketing favor — you are making the platform more useful for yourself and everyone else in your area who shops secondhand.

The organizer you introduce gets found by shoppers who would not have known about their sale otherwise. You get rewarded for the connection. Everyone gets more inventory to browse.

Common questions

**What if the organizer is already on FindA.Sale?** If they already have an account, the introduction will not go through and you will see a message letting you know. No reward is issued in that case.

**Can I introduce more than one organizer?** Yes. There is no limit. Each completed introduction (where the organizer lists their first sale) earns a separate reward.

**What if I do not know their email address?** You can share your referral link directly — go to [/shopper/referrals](/shopper/referrals), copy the organizer referral link, and send it to them however you like. The link routes them to the organizer signup flow with your referral attached.

**Will the organizer know I introduced them?** The email mentions that a FindA.Sale shopper thought they would be a good fit, but it does not include your name unless you add a personal note in the optional message field.

**What counts as "their first sale"?** The first sale they publish on FindA.Sale — meaning it goes live and is visible to shoppers. A draft that never publishes does not count.

**Does the organizer get anything for joining through my introduction?** Yes. New organizers get a welcome benefit when they join — the details are shown in the introduction email they receive. This is separate from what you earn.
