Plan a Day With the Sale Planner
Got a Saturday free and want to hit three sales in one trip? The Sale Planner learns what you're hunting for, finds nearby sales with those items, and builds an optimized route for you.
How it works
- **Open the planner** — Tap "Plan" from the home menu.
- **Describe what you're hunting** — Type naturally: "mid-century tables and lamps" or "vintage kids' clothes and toys." The planner reads it and searches for sales with those categories.
- **See results** — The planner shows sales ranked by match—which ones have the items you want, how far they are, and their hours.
- **Build your route** — Tap sales to add them to your plan. The planner maps an efficient route (shortest drive time or best match score, depending on settings).
- **Adjust or swap** — Don't like a sale in your route? Tap the X to remove it or swap it for a different one.
- **Save or share** — Save the plan to your profile or copy a link to share with a friend. They can see the route and follow along.
- **Navigate** — Tap "Start Route" and the planner opens turn-by-turn directions. You're set.
Tips for better plans
- **Be specific** — Instead of "furniture," say "dining chairs" or "bedroom dresser." The planner matches more accurately.
- **Name brands if you're hunting them** — "Vintage Pyrex" or "Coach bags" gets better results than "kitchenware" or "handbags."
- **Set a start time** — Tell the planner what time you want to start. It will respect sale hours and won't plan you to arrive after closing.
- **Adjust radius** — If you want to stay close to home, reduce the search radius. If you're okay with a long drive, expand it.
Common questions
How does the planner know what sales have my items?
The planner scans organizers' item listings and match your search terms. If a sale lists "oak dining table," it matches your search for "dining furniture."
Can I change the route order once it's planned?
Yes. Tap and drag sales to reorder them. The planner will recalculate drive times for the new order.
What if a sale closes before I get there?
The planner shows hours for each sale. If your route would arrive after closing, it'll warn you. You can adjust the start time or swap that sale for another.
Can I save multiple plans?
Yes. Save as many as you want. They're stored under "My Plans" in your profile.
What's the difference between a saved plan and a wishlist?
A wishlist saves individual items. A plan saves a full route with multiple sales optimized by drive time. Plans are for day trips; wishlists are for browsing over time.
Can I share a plan with someone?
Yes. Tap "Share" and copy the link. Send it via text, email, or social media. They can view your route, add their own items to hunt for, and navigate along with you.
How many sales can I add to one plan?
As many as you want, but realistically 3–5 is optimal for a day. More than that and you'll spend more time driving than shopping.
