# Hunt Pass: what you get and whether it's worth it
Hunt Pass is a monthly subscription that unlocks early access to rare and legendary items, longer hold times, and bonus XP. If you've ever shown up to a sale and found the good stuff already gone, this is what fixes that.

What Hunt Pass includes
**Early Access to rare and legendary items.** This is the main reason people subscribe. When an organizer marks an item as Rare or Legendary, Hunt Pass members see it 30 minutes before it goes live to everyone else. That matters when there's only one of something — and at estate sales, auctions, and consignment shops, there usually is only one.
**Longer hold times.** Hunt Pass members get extended hold windows on items they reserve. You have more time to get to the sale without losing your item.
**Bonus XP on actions you already take.** Posts, saves, check-ins, and referrals all earn more XP while your pass is active. Check the [Guild Primer](/shopper/guild-primer) for current multipliers.
**Hunt Pass badge on your profile.** Some organizers offer Hunt Pass-only discounts or previews. The badge signals that you're a serious buyer.

How to subscribe

Is it worth it for you?
**It probably is if:**
- You hunt estate sales, antique shops, or consignment stores regularly
- You've gone to a sale and found the item you wanted already sold or held
- You're climbing the guild ranks and want to move faster
- You're actively chasing rare or legendary items
**It probably isn't if:**
- You shop once a month or less
- You mostly buy common household goods and aren't chasing specific finds
- XP rank doesn't matter to you
The simplest test: have you ever shown up to a sale and found a rare item already gone within the first hour of opening? If yes, Hunt Pass pays for itself the first time it gets you that item.

How to cancel
Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel. No cancellation fee. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, then stops.

Common questions
**Does Hunt Pass guarantee I get the item?** No. Early Access means you see it first. You still need to hold or buy it before someone else does. But 30 minutes is a real head start when demand is high.
**Does my pass carry over if I cancel and resubscribe?** Your XP history and rank stay intact. Early Access resumes immediately when you resubscribe. Nothing is lost.
**Can I pause instead of canceling?** Not currently. You can cancel and resubscribe any month — there's no penalty.
**Does the XP bonus stack with achievements?** Yes. Bonus XP from Hunt Pass applies on top of base XP from actions. Achievement XP is awarded separately.
**Which items qualify for Early Access?** Items tagged Rare or Legendary by the organizer. You'll see the badge on the item card. Filter by Rarity in search to find them.
