Why it's worth checking
The Loot Legend is a personal record of your collecting history. It's useful in a few practical ways:
**Tracking category spend.** If you've been buying furniture for two years, your Loot Legend shows how many pieces, from how many organizers, in which cities. That's useful when you're deciding whether to drive two hours for an estate sale with a strong furniture section.
**Remembering where you found something.** "Where did I get that lamp?" is answerable if you've been buying through FindA.Sale. Your purchase history feeds into the Loot Legend.
**Seeing your hunting patterns.** Most active months. Most visited city. Most repeat organizer. These numbers tell you something about your habits — and sometimes they're surprising.

How it connects to your rank
Your rank is driven by XP. Your XP is driven by the actions tracked in your Loot Legend. Purchases, reviews, haul posts, referrals — they're all recorded here and they're all feeding your rank in real time.
The Loot Legend doesn't control your rank directly. It's more like a receipt: it shows the accumulated evidence of why you're at the rank you're at.

Privacy settings
Your Loot Legend is private by default. Only you see it.
You can make the summary public from your profile settings (Profile → Settings → Public Loot Legend). When you do, other shoppers can see your summary stats — total items, rank, favorite categories, most visited city, current and best streak. They cannot see your spending amounts or your purchase history.
If you want to keep everything private, leave the default setting as-is. Your stats are still fully visible to you either way.

Common questions
**Does the Loot Legend update in real time?** Yes. Every purchase, review, haul post, and achievement adds to your stats immediately.
**Can I export my Loot Legend?** Not currently. You can view it at [/shopper/loot-legend](/shopper/loot-legend) or on your profile stats tab.
**Does the Loot Legend show items I saved but didn't buy?** No. It tracks items you purchased, not saves or holds. Wishlist saves appear in your wishlist, not your Loot Legend.
**What if I see an error in my stats?** Contact support with the specific stat and what you believe the correct value should be. Include approximate dates if you know them.
**Does making my Loot Legend public affect how the app treats me?** No functional difference. Some organizers browse public profiles before responding to buyer questions, so a visible track record can sometimes speed up a response. But it's optional.
**Is the rarest item I purchased determined by what I paid or by the Rare/Legendary tag?** By the rarity tag the organizer assigned. A $10 item tagged Legendary outranks a $200 item tagged Common in your Loot Legend records.
