What the Condition Grades Mean (with photo examples)
Every item on FindA.Sale has a condition grade: S, A, B, C, or D. Here's what each one means and what to expect when you buy.
Quick reference
**S (Shop-quality)** — Looks new or unused. No scratches, stains, dents, or wear. You might think it's never been used.
**A (Excellent)** — Very minor wear. Maybe one tiny scratch or a small scuff, but function is perfect. The cosmetics are 95% pristine.
**B (Good)** — Light wear is visible. Maybe a few scratches, fading, or small marks, but it works perfectly. Cosmetics are maybe 80% pristine.
**C (Fair)** — Moderate wear. Scratches, stains, dents, or color fade are obvious. It works, but it shows its age. Cosmetics are maybe 50% pristine.
**D (As-is)** — Heavy wear, damage, or functional issues. Might have deep scratches, stains, rust, or parts missing. Might need repair.

How to use this when shopping
Look at the grade badge on every item card and item detail page. If you're buying for yourself and don't mind character and patina, B and C items are great bargains. If you're buying for a gift or want it to look new, stick to S and A grades.
Always check the photos too. A seller might rate something B when the photos show it's closer to C. That's why the photos matter more than the grade.
